Public Comment Opportunity on the draft 2035 Plan:
 The currently adopted Mobility 2030 Plan is scheduled to be replaced by June, 2010 with People, Planning and Preparing for the Future: Your 25 Year Transportation Plan. The draft Executive Summary (24 MB), 2035 Transportation Plan (34 MB), and Appendices (8 MB) are available for review and comment.

Help Spread the Word About the 2010 Census:
  
The 2010 Census is coming and it's imperative that Central Texans participate. Each question helps to determine how approximately $400 billion will be allocated to communities across the country.

The census aims to count everyone living in the United States: me, you, our homeless population, students, immigrants, etc. Census data is used to allocate government funds for critical community services such as transportation, education, programs for the elderly, health care and job training.

This month, census forms will be delivered to every residence in the United States and Puerto Rico. When you receive yours, just answer the 10 short questions and then mail the form back in the postage-paid envelope provided. You can also help by spreading the word to your family, friends and neighbors about why the 2010 Census matters.

The census is important, it’s easy, and it’s safe- 10 questions, 10 minutes for 10 years worth of funds. For more information, please visit www.census.gov/2010.
